Museum guild to host Victorian Christmas open house Dec. 2

DEARBORN –  The Museum Guild of Dearborn invites the public on a trip back in time this holiday season.

The Victorian Christmas Open House is scheduled 1 to 6 p.m. Dec. 2 at the Dearborn Historical Museum’s Commandant’s Quarters, 21950 Michigan Ave.

The museum will be adorned with beautiful holiday decorations harkening back to the Victorian Era. There will be Christmas music, games, crafts and refreshments.

A silent auction of holiday baskets and gifts will also be held, with proceeds going to the Museum Guild.

Santa Claus will be on site from 3 to 6 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public.
