Thomas the Tank Engine returns to Greenfield Village for Day Out with Thomas: Big Adventures Tour 2018 for three consecutive weekends April 28 to May 13.

DEARBORN ─ All aboard! Thomas the Tank Engine invites little engineers to join him for a day of big adventures and even bigger memories at Day Out with Thomas: Big Adventures Tour 2018 at The Henry Ford.

Children everywhere can spend a day with Thomas when the No. 1 Engine pulls into Greenfield Village on April 28 and 29, and May 5, 6, 12 and 13. Day Out with Thomas: Big Adventures Tour 2018 is presented by Mattel.

Day Out with Thomas provides children of all ages the opportunity to climb aboard and take a ride with Thomas as well as participate in Thomas & Friends-themed activities.

For three back-to-back weekends, little engineers and their families are invited to take a 25-minute ride on their favorite engine, meet Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway, and enjoy a day of Thomas & Friends fun with crafts, photo opportunities, and more.

Children who attend Day Out With Thomas also will receive a “Passport to Adventures” booklet to track their journey at the event, along with a special prize upon completion.

Thomas the Tank Engine rides depart every 30 minutes rain or shine. Departure times begin at 9:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. each day of the event.

Tickets for Day Out with Thomas are $11.75 plus tax for members of The Henry Ford aged 1 and up, $39.75 for adult non-members, $37 for non-members aged 62 and up, and $32.75 for non-members aged 5 to 11.
