TAYLOR — Dr. Steven Shwedel and Dr. Caroline Okonkowski will once again host free dental care through Dentistry From The Heart Sept. 8, supporting Wayne County residents by providing at least 130 adult patients free dental services.
The team of dental professionals at Shwedel Dental, 25650 Goddard Road, will provide patients with a free filling, extraction or cleaning. There also will be several dentists, oral surgeons, hygienists, dental assistants and other dental professionals donating their time and resources, in order to provide free dental care to as many adults in need as possible.
DFTH will donate thousands of dollars in free dental care and provide much needed relief to people in need in the community.
This event is for adults 18 and up. Patients should arrive early as the event is first come, first serve. Event registration will begin at 7:45 a.m. and patients will be seen through 5 p.m. Patients should dress appropriate for the weather, and bring chairs, water and snacks, as they will be outside waiting to be seen.
This is the 10th annual event for Shwedel Dental and its team of volunteers. Previous events have brought relief to over 1,050 people while donating over $295,000 in free dental care to the Taylor community.
