August 24, 2018 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

DEARBORN — The city will mark the official opening of Lapeer Park’s recently renovated sand volleyball courts Aug. 27 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The public is invited to attend the event, which begins at 5 p.m.

Funded by a $20,000 Wayne County Millage Allocation, this project included the refurbishment of an existing sand volleyball court, the addition of a second court and the installation of lights for both courts.

In the event of inclement weather, the ribbon-cutting ceremony will be cancelled.
