Creation of LP Business Association topic of public forum.

January 26, 2019 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

LINCOLN PARK — Former City Councilman Chris Dardzinski will host an open forum and planning meeting Feb. 13 to discuss forming a business association.

The meeting, scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at Ikaros Hall, 1677 Fort St., will last as long as necessary, Dardzinski said.

Topics will include street level simple ideas, promotion of the city, community events and the business community working together, he said.
Another goal will be to partner with the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce, volunteer groups, service organization, the city and school district on larger projects.

The public is invited, and audience members are invited to present other ideas and what their personal commitment will be to seeing those ideas become reality.

“I see this venture as a much-needed step for making Lincoln Park noticed as a dynamic place for commerce and a nice place to raise a family,” Dardzinski said.
