DEARBORN — Internationally acclaimed pianist Ling-Ju Lai will return to the Music at Cherry Hill concert series at 4 p.m. March 3 at Cherry Hill Presbyterian Church, 24110 Cherry Hill Road.

Following Lai’s concert on the church’s Bosendorfer Imperial Grand Piano last spring, there were numerous requests for her return.

Lai’s concert will include works by Chopin, Beethoven, J.S. Bach, Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff.

A native of Taiwan, Lai received graduate degrees in piano and harpsichord performance from the University of Michigan and Eastman School of Music, where she was awarded the Performer’s Certificate for excellence. She earned a doctor of musical arts in piano performance from the U-M.

As a concert pianist, Lai has performed in leading international venues and participated in acclaimed music festivals, such as the Royal Academy of Music in London, Gewandhaus in Leipzig, Town Hall in Bruges, The National Theater in Taiwan, The Bach Festival in Leipzig and the William Kapell International Piano Competition in Maryland.

Lai has consistently won favorable reviews for her creative interpretation of Baroque keyboard music, particularly the music of J.S. Bach.

There is no admission charge for the concert; free will offerings will be received.

For more information, call the Rev. Mark Phillips at 313-563-4800.
