The 2019 Lincoln Park Memorial Remembrance Parade, held May 19, honored the late John Dingell Jr., the former long-time congressman who died in February at the age of 92. The parade, which took on Dingell’s name for 2019, began at Fort and White streets and ended at Memorial Park. VFW District 4 Honor Guard (representing Posts 1888 and 552) leads the parade, followed by John McElmeel (behind, left), past commander of VFW Post 552.
