DACC Taste of Dearborn ‘grub crawl’ returns June 19

DEARBORN — The Dearborn Area Chamber of Commerce Taste of Dearborn returns from 6 to 9:30 p.m. June 19 in central and downtown west Dearborn.

General admission tickets are available for $35, and include appetizers from more than 25 participating restaurants in downtown west Dearborn and the Fairlane Town Center complex. General admission and wine tasting tickets ($50) are available at www.dearbornareachamber.org or by calling 313-584-6100. A $5 discount is available by using the coupon code “EARLYBIRD.”

Participants may pick up their wristbands at the DACC office, 22100 Michigan Ave., from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 17 and 18.

Participants receive a menu passport and map at registration, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the DACC office or PJ Chang’s in Fairlane Town Center, 18900 Michigan Ave.

Les Stanford Cadillac once again serves as the host and location for the Wine & Beer Tasting Reception. Participants begin at this location, 21730 Michigan Ave.,and enjoy substantial appetizers and samples provided by LaPita Mediterranean Cuisine and live jazz entertainment from the vocal jazz group Midnight Blue from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Pre-registration is required to attend the reception.

The DACC will provide free shuttles, courtesy of LaFontaine Automotive Group, between downtown west Dearborn and the Fairlane Town Center complex until 9:15 p.m.

Participating restaurants include Andiamo-Dearborn, Bangkok 96 Street Foods, Benihaha, bd’s Mongolian Grill, Brome Modern Eatery, Buffalo Wild Wings, Noah’s SmokeHouse, JP’s Bar & Grill, Lue Thai Cafe, PF Chang’s, StrEats of Detroit, Unburger Grill, Common Grace Coffee Company, Dearborn Brewing, Del Taco, Famous Hamburger, Ford’s Garage, La Pita Mediterranean Restaurant, Mint 29, Olga’s Kitchen Dearborn Heights and Trio Eats .

The lead sponsor of the “grub crawl” is Jim Thorpe, Ameriprise Financial.
