DEARBORN — Police arrested a man from a house on Manor Street near Tireman Avenue June 4 following a standoff, according to WWJ Newsradio 950.

It is unknown how long police or the department’s tactical officers were on the scene after they responded that morning, but police officers showed up first.

The man was barricaded inside while officers wearing tactical gear surrounded the house and spoke to him through a megaphone, WWJ reported.

Neighbor Ahamd Srour told WWJ that police were at the same house a couple weeks ago, the suspect has been in and out of jail and the family at that house is “real good.”

A Facebook video posted by Royal Srour showed a group of officers moving around the house, and someone yelling what could’ve been, “Dearborn Police,” before a loud bang is heard.

Calls to the Police Department were not returned by press time for details.
