Twinkle
Twinkle, a 5-year-old female mixed breed, arrived at the shelter as a stray. Shelter evaluators think this gentle girl will do well in any home ready for a dog, and they would like her to meet her potential family’s children and dogs first. You can meet Twinkle in the Lapdog Lofts in the new adoption center.

Ypsilanti
Ypsilanti, an 11-month-old female domestic shorthair, arrived at the shelter with her sisters Saugatuck and Traverse City after they were found together in an abandoned home. You can meet all three at the new adoption center.

Pookie
Pookie, a 13-month-old female mixed breed, arrived at the shelter as a stray. She loves to give kisses and walks nicely on a leash. She likes plush squeaky toys, rope toys, and tennis balls, and shelter evaluators think she’ll do best in an active home. Pookie spent time in the home of a shelter volunteer who said she’s very sweet and will play with a companion or by herself. Her host said that while she worked in the garden, Pookie entertained herself with toys in the yard and would check in with her but then go back to playing. She rides nicely in a car and is good in a crate, and she played well with other dogs in playgroups at the shelter. Evaluators would like to meet all children and dogs of prospective adopters at the new adoption center.
