Dearborn flag day celebration

Unserviceable American flags burn, following American Legion protocol, during Flag Day ceremonies June 14 at Ford Field, 22051 Cherry Hill Road. The annual Flag Dady ceremony hosted by the Dearborn Allied War Veterans Council and city of Dearborn included a dignified disposal ceremony of American flags no longer fit for public display. The Dearborn Allied War Veterans Council presided over the ceremony and supervised the patriotic disposal.
