Music Under the Stars returns July 11

Dearborn hosts free concert series

DEARBORN – Music Under the Stars, the Recreation & Parks Department’s free concert series, returns for another season July 11.

The popularly-acclaimed concert series kicks off its 41st season July 11 with a concert in the Michael A. Guido Theater, 5801 Michigan Ave., featuring the Dearborn Community Concert Band.

Holly and the Johnnies will headline Music Under the Stars July 25 at the Dearborn Hills Golf Course, 1300 S. Telegraph Road.

Atomic Radio will be the featured group Aug. 8 in a special concert on the deck of Dunworth Pool at Levagood Park, 700 N. Silver Lane.

Fifty Amp Fuse will perform Aug. 22, and the Dearborn Big Band will be the closing act of the annual series Sept. 12. Both concerts will be held at the Dearborn Hills Golf Course.

All concerts begin at 7:30 p.m.

Patrons are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket.

In the event of inclement weather, performances may be moved to an indoor venue.
