DEARBORN – Dearborn’s sixth annual City Golf Championship Tournament will be Sept. 7 to 8 at Robert Herndon Dearborn Hills Course, 1300 S. Telegraph.

The event, open to adult golfers from both Dearborn and the surrounding area, will feature 18 holes of play each day, beginning with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday.

Competition will be divided into separate divisions for men, women and seniors (aged 55 and over).

The two-day tournament also will include a closest-to-the-pin contest each day and an awards luncheon following the second round.

Prospective participants can register online at www.dearbornhills.com, over the phone, or in person at the pro shop.

The cost is $60 per golfer and includes 18 holes of golf each day, three tokens each round — good for food or a beverage at the turn — and the awards luncheon. The cost does not include the use of a cart.

For further information, call Dearborn Hills Golf Course at 313-563-4653.
