Children enjoy carnival rides at the four-day Michigan Cultural & Diversity Festival Aug. 22 to 25 at HYPE Athletics Center, 23302 W. Warren Ave. in Dearborn Heights. The inaugural festival featured rides, games, food, a variety of live music, cultural tents, booths for unique gifts, and bouncy inflatables. According to its website, the purpose of the festival was to provide children and families the opportunity to experience vibrant and diverse cultures of the community.
