DEARBORN – The Museum Guild of Dearborn’s beer tasting fundraiser will return for its seventh annual installment from 5 to 11 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Dearborn Historical Museum’s Ross-McFadden House, 915 S. Brady St.
Tickets are $20 in advance, or $25 at the door, and include admission, live entertainment and the first eight sample-sized beers from a variety of Michigan breweries. Tickets can also be used for wine and root beer.
Tickets can be purchased at www.thedhm.com or in person at the museum office. All proceeds benefit the Dearborn Historical Museum’s educational programs.
Guests can pay to try out several food trucks or participate in a silent auction.
New this year, attendees will have the opportunity to view and purchase artwork created by participants from the Dearborn Sculpture Fest, a competition in which artists create sculptures out of recycled scrap metal. This opportunity was made possible by a partnership between the museum, the Dearborn Area Chamber of Commerce and The Glass Academy.
The event is sponsored by the Museum Guild of Dearborn.
