Taylor seeks applications for Recreation Commission

The city of Taylor seeks residents who have a passion for recreation to serve on its recreation commission.

 

TAYLOR — The city seeks residents who have a passion for recreation to serve on the Taylor Recreation Commission. This is a nine-member, unpaid panel that is committed to enhancing the quality of life for the community by promoting planning, development and sustainability of parks, facilities and programs.

Any resident who is interested in serving on the commission should send a letter or introduction and a resume to Guido Ulin ([email protected]) and Crystal Kermans-Ditzhazy ([email protected]). The deadline for applying is 5 p.m. Oct. 11.

Nominees eventually will be finalized by the department and approved by the City Council.

The Recreation Commission embraces wellness and recreation, safety and inclusiveness for all ages and abilities.
