Texas man reunited with Ford Mustang in Dearborn

Wesley Ryan (left), of San Antonio is reunited with his restored 1993 Ford Mustang GT alongside his wife, Laura Ryan; daughter Jeni Ryan; and Ford Foundation Board Trustee Henry Ford III Aug. 8 outside the Ford World Headquarters in Dearborn. Last September, Wesley Ryan’s children found the Mustang that was sold 17 years ago to pay for his wife Laura Ryan’s ovarian cancer treatment. When the video of Wesley Ryan’s reaction to seeing his vehicle went viral, Ford Executive Chairman Bill Ford decided to help the Wesley Ryan’s upgrade the Mustang. Hennessey Performance Owner John Hennessey worked with Ford to fix up the vehicle.
