Traffic restricted to northbound only
TAYLOR — The resurfacing project of Beech Daly Road between Brest and Wick roads is set to begin next week. Depending on the weather and other factors, contractors will start on either Oct. 9 or 10.
The project will be broken into two phases as Beech Daly is resurfaced one side at a time. During each of these phases, traffic on Beech Daly will be restricted to northbound only.
Signage and detour instructions will be installed at various points along Beech Daly, Wick, Goddard, Brest and Northline roads, and on side streets to the east and west or the project. Since Taylor High School is in session, the city suggests that non-school traffic avoid the Beech Daly-Goddard Road area, if possible, during the morning entry and afternoon exit hours from the school.
Throughout the project, north- and southbound traffic should use Inkster or Telegraph roads as alternative routes. This project should have little or no effect on east- and westbound traffic.
