DEARBORN — The body of a Brownstown Township man was found about 8 a.m. Oct. 2 near parking lot of Ford Motor Co. Schaefer Court, 14441 Rotunda Drive.

Police responded to the intersection of Schaefer Road and Rotunda Drive on a report of a man down in the grass next to the road. The unresponsive body of John Fustini, 62, was discovered and confirmed dead by first responders.

Wayne County Medical Examiner’s Office Spokeswoman Charli Rose provided the name, but said the cause and manner of Fustini’s death were pending.

“No obvious signs of foul play were observed and the Wayne County Medical Examiner’s office responded to take custody of the deceased,” a Dearborn Police press release said.

Evidence collection specialists and detectives responded to the scene to investigate the scene.

“Our condolences go out to the family of the deceased and we will continue investigating this incident until a determination is made as to the cause of death,” Police Chief Ronald Haddad said.
