Environmental, educational, and other issues of importance to the community were topics of discussion Oct. 28 at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center. Several local officials were on hand for positive dialogue with Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist II (third from left) as he brought his Thriving Cities Tour to Dearborn to discuss improving the quality of life. Among those in attendance were state Sen. Sylvia Santana (left), Friends of the Rouge Executive Director Marie McCormick and John Zadikian of John Zadikian Multimedia, who welcomed Gilchrist to Dearborn on behalf of the Dearborn Area Chamber of Commerce.
