November 7, 2019 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

Most city offices and facilities will be closed during the holiday, Nov. 11

DEARBORN – Most city offices and facilities will be closed in observance of Veterans Day Nov. 11.

Collection of curbside trash, recyclables and yard waste, however, is not affected by the holiday, and will occur as normal.

In addition, loose leaf collection will take place as scheduled on Monday, for residents who live in the Monday collection district.

The Dearborn Administrative Center, all branches of the Dearborn Public Library, and the Senior Center inside the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center will be closed on Monday. The rest of the center and the Dearborn Ice Skating Center will have regular hours on Monday.

The city’s annual Veterans Day ceremony beings at 11 a.m. Monday at the Michael A. Guido Theater at the Ford Center, 15801 Michigan Ave. The event is open to the public.
