DEARBORN – The public is invited to the ctiy’s annual Veterans Day Ceremony at 11 a.m. Nov. 11 at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, 15801 Michigan Ave.

The ceremony is presented in conjunction with the Dearborn Allied War Veterans Council. U.S. Army veteran Tom Wilson will be honored as Veteran of the Year at the ceremony.

Wilson also served as commander for the DAWVC in 2012 and oversaw Dearborn’s Memorial Day Parade, the Veterans Day Ceremony and the Flag Day Ceremony. He was also instrumental in the revitalization of the Walter Kielb Veterans Memorial, as well as its relocation to Fordson High School.
