TAYLOR — Taylor Auxiliary Police will host two fundraisers this month in preparation for its recruiting season which begins in March.
The auxiliary will host a fundraiser from 4 to 10 p.m. Nov. 12 at Texas Roadhouse, 14660 Pardee Road. During that time, 10 percent of food sales will go to support the auxiliary police. The auxiliary police will host an auction from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the William Ford Senior Activities Center, 6750 Troy St. Viewing begins at 8:30 a.m.; the auction begins at 9 a.m. All proceeds will go toward uniform purchases and to aid the department.
Beginning March 1, the auxiliary will host two classes per week for 12 weeks where recruits will train in firearms, first aid and other law enforcement techniques.
