Geranium, a 2-year-old male domestic shorthair, arrived at the shelter as a stray. Shelter evaluators think he will do his best in a loving home that gives him some time to get comfy and cozy. They say he will make the perfect pet for a loving family. You can meet him in the Cat Suites at the adoption center.

Astra
Astra, a 2-year-old female mixed breed, likes to play and her favorite toy is the tennis ball. She also knows how to sit and is a very gentle dog. Shelter evaluators think she make the perfect companion for anyone or the perfect family pet. You can meet her in the adoption center.

Judy Jetson
Judy Jetson, a 2-year-old female domestic shorthair, arrived at the shelter as a stray. She is a sweet, beautiful kitty. You can meet her at a shelter offsite adoption center, PetSmart Dearborn, 5650 Mercury Drive.

Adoption fees vary. All cats go home spayed or neutered, microchipped and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. All dogs go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, heart worm tested (if at least 6 months old), and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. The Dearborn Animal Shelter is at 16121 Reckinger Drive in Dearborn. Shelter hours are noon to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday; noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.
