Trash collection delayed, loose leaf collection interrupted

DEARBORN – All city buildings will be closed for Thanksgiving, Nov. 28. This means the Dearborn Administrative Center, the 19th District Court, Dearborn Public Libraries, the Dearborn Ice Skating Center and the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center.

The DAC, 19th District Court and the Bryant and Esper branch libraries will remain closed on Nov. 29.

The Ford Center will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Nov. 29. The DISC will be hosting its annual Thanksgiving Hockey Tournament Friday through and Sunday.

Trash, recycling and curbside waste pickup will be delayed by one day for the Thursday and Friday trash districts. Loose leaf collection services will continue on Friday for the Friday trash district, and, for the Thursday district, will resume as normal on Dec. 5.
