DEARBORN – The Dearborn Historical Museum will honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. by hosting a children’s event.
The McFadden-Ross House will host an event noon to 1:30 p.m. Jan. 20, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, where children can learn about the civil rights leader and have fun while doing so.
There will be crafts and story times. This is an opportunity for parents looking to educate their children in an engaging way.
Admission is $2 per child to cover the cost for the craft materials.
This is the first of a new monthly series at the museum. In January, the museum wants children to feel encouraged to think about their dreams for themselves, their community, and their world.
The McFadden-Ross House is at 915 S. Brady. For more information, call 313-565-3000.
