Dearborn Heights police are searching for a man who stole an impact wrench Jan. 27 from Home Depot, 25451 Michigan Ave. Surveillance video shows a white or Arab man enter Home Depot, where he took a Milwaukee brand half-inch impact wrench off the shelf and hid it inside his jacket. The man left the store — passing all cash registers without paying — walked through the parking lot, entered a white Ford F-150 pickup truck and drove east on Michigan Avenue. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Detective Sgt. Gene Derwick at 313-277-7388.
