Dearborn yard waste collection suspended starting April 13 until further notice

Trash and recycling collection continues as normal

DEARBORN – Yard waste collection is temporarily cancelled in the city starting April 13 until further notice.

Trash and recycling collection will continue.

The yard waste suspension allows resources to be directed to trash and recycling collection, and helps protect workers who need to physically handle yard waste at the curb.

The city’s contractor, GFL, made this decision April 9 due to concerns about COVID-19.
