DEARBORN — A city employee called police to Summer Stephens Pool, 22730 Audette, June 4 for damage to the pool section of the park.

Officers were informed by the employee that he was at the pool for maintenance when he observed damage to the gate in the rear of the building and a sign inside of he gated pool ripped from the wall. The gate was still locked, but forcefully removed from its original placement, the report said. Police confirmed the damage.

A resident living behind the park said that approximately 10 p.m. June 3 she heard an unusual chain-like noise coming from the rear of her house. She also said that out of the window she saw two men and one woman walking and talking at the rear of he park near the damaged gate.

One of the men jumped on top of the building and appeared to be looking for something, and then all three fled the location, the resident said.
