The Arc Dearborn was one of 14 Wayne and Washtenaw county non-profits that received $17,000 in grants from the Metro West Chapter of Credit Unions.

Joining The Arc Dearborn were Deo Gratias Ministries Detroit, Mi Work Matters, St. John’s Episcopal Church Food Pantry, Detroit Cristo Rey High School, Keep it Moving Inc., Samaritas, The Salvation Army Plymouth, Habitat for Humanity Western Wayne County, The Arc of Northwest Wayne County, Bailey Park Project, Living Arts, Operation Refuge and Youth Are Bigger Than Life.

Funds are raised through the chapter’s annual golf outing and other activities by credit unions in the Metro West area.

As a chapter of the Michigan Credit Union League, the mission of the Metro West Chapter is to support the educational needs, community improvement, and political advocacy of credit unions in the communities it serves. The chapter will begin accepting grant proposals for next year in May.
