RIVERVIEW — A woman reported to police that her bank account had several fraudulent charges made to her account totaling $1,300 as of March 21.

She said that while checking her bank account March 18, she noticed the four charges prompting her to call and advise her bank. The charges were made March 13 at Red Robin for $50.95, March 14 at Mattress Discount for $899.94 and Kroger in Brownstown for $335, and March 15 at Sam’s Club for $45.

According to the report, the woman was contacted by a bank employee who said they investigated the incident when they were advised that there was security video of the suspect making the purchased at Mattress Discount.

The store also had video of the suspect’s vehicle, a white Ford F-150 with a Michigan license plate. Police ran the plate number with no record response.

An email the suspect used during the purchase was provided as well. No further information was provided from Mattress Discount at the time of the report.

The woman completed an identity theft packet.
