Air filtration kits produced by Ford Motor Co. and Lasko Products are available at no charge to southeast Michigan businesses and other organizations through the Dearborn Area Chamber of Commerce.
Businesses and non-profit organizations throughout southeast Michigan are invited to take advantage of the free air filtration kits developed by Ford Motor Co. and distributed by the Dearborn Area Chamber of Commerce through July 1.
The kits are air filtration units that allows for quick and simple assembly on site. Based on scientific studies from academic and government research, the kits supplement a room’s existing filtration system to further help reduce the risk of COVID-19 virus particle concentrations. They are ideal for small spaces, such as waiting rooms, office spaces, yoga studios, spa and salon settings, and small restaurant lobbies.
The free kits are available for pickup at the rear of the 999 Republic St. in Allen Park. A business card is required. Recipients must be able to carry a standard household box fan and load the kit in their vehicle themselves.
The pickup schedule is:
• June 14 from 1 to 5 p.m..
• June 23 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• June 28 from 1 to 4:30 p.m.
• June 29 from noon to 5 p.m.
