MELVINDALE — Two small angel statues outside St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 19624 Wood St., were destroyed either June 22 or 23 by a vandal who also tore decorative plants from a nearby container, tossing them to the ground.
A church official said surveillance footage would be reviewed and forwarded to the police detective bureau.
