HEIGHTS — A customer of Panera Bread, 26580 Ford Road, said that $500 he’d left unattended in the store was taken Aug. 2. The man, a Dearborn Heights resident, said he was at the store to pick up his online order when he set down the cash and a credit card, then left the store.
He returned a few minutes later to find his credit card sitting on the shelf where the online orders are picked up, but his $500 in cash was missing.
There was no further information provided.
