TAYLOR — Barking dogs alerted a 31-year-old Taylor woman to an auto larceny at 1:43 a.m. Sept. 13, when a thief smashed the left rear window of her white 2006 Pontiac Torrent and stole $200 in cash from her purse.
The victim said she locked her SUV when she parked it near her residence in the 27000 block of Leroy Street. She said nothing else was missing from her vehicle.
Police officers canvassed the area, but did not locate any possible suspects.
