SOUTHGATE — A business employee who purchased a Trimble GPS tracker online through eBay reported Nov. 24 that when she ran the serial number through an online database, she discovered that it had been reported as stolen out-of-state.
She said she had contacted the original owner, and was preparing to ship the item back to them. The employee requested a police report number so she could seek a refund from eBay.
