DEARBORN — A woman who detected a tracking device in her new car Jan. 23 told police officers that she suspects that the device was hidden in the vehicle by her soon-to-be ex-husband.
She said she received an alert on her iPhone that morning that a tracking device had been activated in close proximity to her location, and when she activated the audio alarm, she discovered the device was hidden within her vehicle, which she purchased two weeks ago, and is used exclusively by her.
Her soon-to-be-ex denied involvement, but left the location before police officers arrived.
