ALLEN PARK — A middle-aged woman who purchased a $530 LG 55-inch screen Smart TV March 10 at Best Buy, 3349 Fairlane Drive, returned it for a refund, but scammed the store by putting another television, of lesser value, in the box.

The woman was described as white, 40 to 50 years old, and wearing a tan coat and a black hat. A copy of store surveillance footage was uploaded and provided to the police detective bureau.
