LINCOLN PARK — A woman’s first date with a man she met on a dating app ended with him stealing her wallet, two purses and other valuables when she left him alone at 2 a.m. March 27 in her residence when she went to use the bathroom.
The victim, a 32-year-old Lincoln Park woman, provided surveillance camera footage which showed him leaving with her possessions. A tracking device revealed that he took her property to a location in Ecorse.
Stolen were a Michael Kors wallet with the woman’s driver’s license, electronic benefit transfer card, a debit card, a credit card and a bank card; two brown leather Coach bags and one Sentry Safe.
She attempted to contact the man, but received no response.
