DEARBORN — A Hamtramck man was arrested for reckless driving and no vehicle insurance the night of June 4 after a police officer saw him driving his white 2011 Infiniti G37 east on Ford Road near Schaefer Road at a high rate of speed.

The police officer observed the man swerving in and out of traffic lanes, narrowly avoiding collisions with other vehicles.

A traffic stop was conducted, and the vehicle was impounded and towed. The vehicle passenger was cited for underage possession of and for smoking a nicotine vape pen.
