SOUTHGATE β€” A bicycle thief was cited for receiving and concealing stolen property June 5 after a police officer spotted a bicycle, which matched the description of one stolen earlier, near a break in the wall between the Walmart Supercenter, 14900 Dix Toledo Road, and the Southgate Police Department.

When a man walked over to the bicycle and prepared to ride off, he was detained, and subsequently admitted to stealing the bicycle from next to the trash bin at Burger King, 15350 Eureka Road. He said he stole the bicycle because β€œhe was tired of walking around.”
