ALLEN PARK — Olga’s Kitchen received a counterfeit $100 bill the night of July 11 for a $16 food purchase, and returned $84 in legitimate currency to the man, who left the parking lot without waiting for his food order to be filled.
The bill, which had “for motion picture purposes” and “this is not legal tender” printed on it, was taken into evidence by the responding police officer.
The man was described as tanned skinned, 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a slim build, and wearing a construction vest. There was no description of his vehicle.
