RIVERVIEW — A catalytic converter was reported cut from the undercarriage of a red Ford Escape on July 21 while it was parked in the 15000 block of Shenandoah Drive.

The victim, a 63-year-old woman, said she did not see any suspicious activity, or hear her car alarm engage. The theft occurred between 6 p.m. July 18 and 3:45 p.m. July 21, when she noticed the loud exhaust noise when she turned on her vehicle to drive to the store.
