HEIGHTS — A passport and $380 in cash were reported stolen the afternoon of July 28 from an unlocked gold 2010 Chrysler Sebring while it was parked in the 6100 block of University Drive.

The victim, a 36-year-old Dearborn Heights man, said that at midnight the day before, he noticed that a passenger side door was open, but didn’t connect it to a possible theft at the time.
