HEIGHTS — A 69-year-old man in a local nursing and rehabilitation facility reported Oct. 20 that he was a victim of identity theft last May when someone used his personal information for medical treatment provided by the St. Joseph Mercy Health System in Ann Arbor.

He said he has never been treated through the health system, and said he was billed $772 for an unknown procedure that occurred May 22, and $559 for July 22 X-rays. There were no suspects.
