HEIGHTS — A Michigan food assistance Bridge card account belonging to a 37-year-old Dearborn Heights man was fraudulently emptied of $1,641, the victim reported Nov. 21 to police.

The man said the total amount was spent Nov. 13 at Throop Farm Market in Brooklyn, N.Y. He said he did not authorize anyone to access his funds and he does not know how his Bridge card account was compromised.
