SOUTHGATE — A woman who discovered her credit card was missing after shopping at Kroger, 16705 Fort St., on Oct. 29, told police officers on Nov. 1 that she remembers a man bumping her scooter at the self-checkout and then picking something off the floor, which might have been her credit card.

The woman said she canceled the card, but she doesn’t do online banking, so she doesn’t know for sure if the credit card was fraudulently used. She said she had a difficult time understanding the call center representative when she canceled the card.
