TAYLOR — A customer who arrived early at Metro Pro Tech, 25920 Eureka Road, on the morning of Nov. 25 to have his vehicle serviced discovered the business’ front window had been shattered.

The responding police officers discovered that the interior of the business had been ransacked. A chunk of concrete, likely used to break the window, was found on the lobby floor. A computer and monitor were also found on the floor and all the doors were left unsecured.

When the owner arrived, he indicated that a vehicle scanner tool was stolen from the front desk, and that a tool bag with Snap-On brand tools was stolen from the garage area.

He said he would review the surveillance camera footage and bring a copy of any relevant footage to the police detective bureau.
