DEARBORN — A 41-year-old Belleville man with an outstanding arrest warrant originating in Washtenaw County was taken into custody the morning of Nov. 22 after the vehicle in which he was a passenger was subject to a traffic stop in Dearborn for an expired Ohio license plate.
The vehicle with the expired plate, a black 1999 Jeep Cherokee, a was being driven by a Wyandotte man with a revoked driver’s license. The Jeep was not properly registered and was uninsured.
The license plate was removed and taken into evidence and the Jeep was impounded and towed. The driver, who was released at the scene, was advised to contact 19th District Court for an appearance date.
