RIVERVIEW — A Honda being driven slowly on Pennsylvania Road near Fordline Street, with the flashers on, prompted a traffic stop the afternoon of Nov. 26 which resulted in a 28-year-old Detroit man being cited for driving on a suspended license with an improper license plate and no vehicle insurance.
The license plate had expired in 2021 and belonged to a Jeep.
The driver had outstanding warrants, so he was detained until the issuing agencies were advised and released the man.
The Honda was impounded and towed and the license plate was destroyed. The man was then given a courtesy ride to a nearby apartment.
